A recent Cen Cal Elite Bass Elite Bass tournament showed that there are plenty of biting fish at Kaweah. First place weighed in a bag over 16 pounds and most of the other participants did well too. Anglers used Senkos and finesse baits to catch many of the spotted bass, but spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and jigs also scored bites. Crappie anglers who located schools of fish fooled’em with Get Bent Baits minijigs and small live minnows. Catfish ate SSS Dip Bait and chicken liver. Kaweah was scheduled for a trout plant for the week of 4/16.
