Lake Success rose to 68 percent of capacity and water temperatures are in the low sixties. Bass anglers reported better conditions overall. The bite still isn’t wide open, but at least anglers are reporting some bass. Largemouth fell for Senkos, drop shot, and twin tailed grubs from 5 to 25 feet deep. Anglers reported some bed fish, and It’s likely Success will fish very well in the next few weeks. Crappie anglers reported doing well over submerged structure on small live minnows and minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles. Success was scheduled for a trout plant for the week of 4/16.
