The East is down to around 585cfs now, as in our last report it’s still very high though there has been a few anglers working the softer water and doing pretty well. There is still not too much wading going on and you really have to choose the water you’re going to fish carefully but there are fish to be hooked, not always landed but definitely hooked! Most of the action we’ve been hearing about has been on streamers but there has been a few anglers Euro nymphing with larger heavy nymphs and hooking some good fish. Some patterns to try include zuddlers, sculpzilla, moal leech, dead drift crayfish, perdigon nymph, zebra midge, buckskin caddis and Fox’s poopah.
