The creek is seeing less pressure and Hat would be a good option for some good fishing and sight seeing. October Caddis can be found on the lower sections north of Highway 299, and Blue Wing Olives are hatching on the overcast or cloudy days. Nymph-wise, the BP Weiss nymph, X-Mays in #18, or Sweet Peas are great to have along with some Peaches n' Green. Moving around and keeping your eyes peeled for hatches is the best tactic this time of year on Hat.
Hot Flies:
• Lance's Jigged X-May
• Rubberlegs
• Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis
• Pheasant Tails
• Mercer's Missing Link
• S&M Nymph
• Walt's Worm
• Peaches n' Green
• BP Weiss Nymph
