Crappie fishing has been on fire at BV with numerous reports of anglers scoring limits. Get Bent Baits crankbaits, minijigs, and small swimbaits all worked to fool the hungry panfish. Trout anglers reported connecting with rainbows while using garlic scented dough baits, minijigs, spoons, and trolled Flicker Shad style baits. Catfish anglers relaxed while soaking cut baits, dip bait, and nightcrawlers with a lot of smaller grade whisker-fish taking the bait. Largemouth have been more active with drop shot, Texas rigs, and jigs all working to fool bass. Spinnerbaits retrieved along weed lines did some damage as well.
