The lake continues to fish well this past week. It's been super good the past month and if all of your other options are unavailable, and you just want to catch a lot of fish and some of the big ones, Baum is worth a look. Fish are eating midge larvae and Blue Wing Olive nymphs for the most part. For dries, the BWO Comparadun and Norman's Loopwing work well, for your underwater offerings Sweet Peas, the light BP Weiss Nymphs, and #18 olive S&M nymphs are all good. Don't forget your midge and Wooly Bugger boxes. Balanced Leeches in black and olive under an indicator when the wind picks up can save the day here. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
