Hyatt is currently 55 percent full. Similar to Howard Prairie, the parking area at the dam was surprisingly clear of snow in a photo taken on March 20. Check Trip Check and be careful of snow on the roadways, but anglers may want to consider a trip to Howard soon for some early season trout fishing from shore. The BLM reported trout rising at Hyatt recently.
All BLM facilities are still closed, which effectively closes access for trailered boats.
