The Metolius has been fishing great. Nymphing has been good and golden stones, two-bits, nitro-caddis, rainbow warriors and eggs have been some recent top flies. BWO’s, caddis, and PMDs will be the main hatches out there right now so make sure you don’t forget the dry fly box at home. We are starting to hear of the first green drake sightings so throw some of those in the box as well. Large streamers for bulls is always a good idea as are some of the balanced baitfish we have in the shop and large balanced leeches. The warm weather coming up should get the bugs excited and we would expect surface activity to pick up next week.
