Success Lake rose slightly to 80 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been decent. Bass anglers reported a lot of smaller grade bass last week. Largemouth took drop shot, stick baits, and jigs. Alabama rigs took fish in 5 to 20 feet of water as well. Catfish slurped up dip baits, chicken liver, and cut mackerel, and crappie ate live shiners, and minijigs near submerged structure. Anglers used their electronics to locate crappie schools before dropping baits.
