Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

Our local angler, Dawn Leclerc, recently fished from shore in the Rotary Park area shortly after a trout stocking. She landed a nice rainbow trout weighing 1.7 pounds and measuring 16.5 inches. Dawn used a crankbait to make this impressive catch. I've also heard that the Nature Center and Community Park areas have some trout. Anglers will need to find the spots where they're holding.

Striped bass anglers are having great success, landing limits of stripers. The Parkway Bridge area has been productive for larger fish, as well as Community Park and up near Davis Dam. This time of year, smaller stripers are in, and anchovies are producing well.

Up on Lake Mohave, stripers are active, with anglers doing well near the dam on the Nevada side by the rocks. Trolling has been effective just outside the Katherine Landing Marina in the Telephone Cove area, while the coves past the power lines are producing some fish with anchovies being the bait of choice.

There's not much news from the Topock Marsh area. I did hear that water levels are low, causing issues for boaters trying to launch. Hopefully, this will change soon.

Hope this helps for now. We look forward to seeing you soon to share your catch and story. Thanks for the support!

Now, go catch a fish!
