Lake Davis water levels are full. The dock is also in the water at Honker Cove. Boats can launch at Camp five or Lightning Tree, but the dock is not fully in the water. Anglers are currently trolling the north side of the big island. 15 to 20 feet crawlers of lake flies is doing good. The early morning bite is better at Lake Davis. Trolling from little island around the dam area is also good to go. Bass fishing is starting to slow down. Shore fisherman can fish at Mallard Cove and Honker Cove. You can cast to the deep channel from the south side of Honker Cove. Shore anglers are recommended to use Inflated crawlers and powerbait for best results.
