The reports this week on the pond were pretty good, there are some weeds to contend with but if you kick around and find the strips of pond that are weed free you should be able to get into some good fish, and good numbers as well. We’re recommending staying away from any beaded flies at this time as too much weight will just get you down too far and into the weeds. Mini leeches and especially soft hackles seem to be doing the trick for most anglers out there.
