Even with the rain showers, the fishing has been steady.

The trout are hungry and waiting for a tasty treat!

Garlic Power Bait, Garlic Pinched Crawlers, Inflated Night Crawlers, and Red and Gold Thomas Buoyant lures have been the tickets for the big ones.

If you aren't getting a bite, try mixing up colors, patterns, and sizes of different lures.

Quite a few fish have been pulled from the creek using salmon eggs, PowerBait, Nightcrawlers, and Sierra Mini Jigs.

Try fishing right from the campsite, you can’t go wrong!

With the warmer weather, the trout are going deeper, so anglers are getting better results by fishing early around first light and again around dusk.

The lake was stocked yesterday by CDFW and will be stocked with the trophy sized trout later this week.

Fish on!
