Success Lake fell to 55 percent of its storage capacity, and bass anglers reported another decent week of fishing. 1-to-2-pound largemouth were the standard sized fish coming over the rail, but bigger fish took jigs and 10” ribbon tailed plastic worms near the trees. Anglers also reported decent low light topwater fishing. Crappie anglers used minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles to score some slabs, and catfish picked up the usual fare on the bait rig.
