Manzanita has a variety of food items the Rainbows are keying on now. Water Boatmen have been on a conveyor belt up to Lassen, fish Theo's Boaman towards cruising fish a-la flats fishing for Bones. Fish will also look at a damsel nymph, Balanced Damsels or Zack Attack Damsels are good flies to present to them. Daily Callibaetis and Mahagony Dun hatches have fish looking up, #14 - 18 Pheasant Tail Nymphs and Adams will serve you well. Manzanita is definitely worth checking out!

Pay attention to the special regulations here, especially where you can and can't fish. Barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release. Make sure you inquire at the park entrance.
