The halibut fishing remained good near New Brighten for the anglers using swim baits, squid, and anchovies. The rock fishing was great up the coast near 4 Mile and Davenport. There were some nice sea bass caught in 75 feet of water near Pleasure Point. The bait balls are still close to the river mouth and so are the striped bass. There are boats talking about going for tuna Friday.
