Fall Chinook is open on the Siletz and fishing has been fair to good in tidewater. Many fish have moved upriver with the recent rain. Expect fish to be available throughout tidewater and the lower river.
The wild coho retention is Sept.14-Nov. 15. Fish should be available throughout the bay and lower river.
Summer steelhead are still available in the Siletz gorge area. Fishing effort and success have been dropping off as anglers shift focus towards fall Chinook.
Trout fishing remains open through Oct. 31.
