The Crooked is fishing well, especially in the mornings. Midges, caddis, and even PMDS are getting attention. For nymphing, zebra midges, pink scuds, and the shop favorite, Ray Charles, patterns are solid choices. Right now, egg patterns are key—whitefish spawn is in full swing, and that’s drawing the trout in.
