This reservoir was stocked last month with an additional 1,300 legal sized trout. There are some nice holdover trout in Chickahominy up to 20 inches and fishing has been good so far this winter.

There is currently about 5 inches of ice and no open water on the reservoir. Ice fishing should be productive but use caution when venturing out on the ice. Ice thickness and strength could be variable due to thawing and re-freezing that occurred earlier this winter.
