The fishing continues to be good at Hot Creek but the window is 11 AM to 2 PM

Water Conditions: Good the flows are at 26cfs as of 3/6. The gate is closed but you can drive up to it now at least and hoof it the rest of the way.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good the fishing continues to be good but the bite window is still about 11am to 2pm. Mostly Baetis, small hatch in the early afternoon. Especially with the cloud cover for the next couple of days.
Fish midges early and late.

DRIES: CDC Baetis Dun #18-#20, CDC Baetis Emerger #20, Extended Body BWO #22, Hatch Matcher BWO #18-#20
NYMPHS: BH Crystal BWO #20-#22, Micromay Olive #20,Tungsten Psycho #16-20, Flashback Hare's Ear #18, Kingreys Cold Turkey Baetis #20, Crystal Hunchback Baetis #22, Split Case BWO #20, WD-40 Black #22, Tungsten Black Beauty #22, Zebra Midge #22, Flashback WD-40 Black or Olive #20-22
STREAMERS: Water isn't deep enough to really bother.

Owens River: The fish are active at the Owens Gorge during the middle of the day but don't expect many hatches
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The area right below the stream section of the Pleasant Valley Reservoir is the "Sweet Spot"
Owens River: This is an ideal time to fish the Lower Owens

Owens River: The fishing on the Lower Owens is excellent with ideal wading conditions
East Walker River (CA): The fishing on the Lower Owens is good from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
