Water Conditions: The flows are at 8 cfs as of 8/1. The water is clear but the weeds can be a problem.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: The fishing is good at Hot Creek. But you need to fish the deeper sections and along the bank. Nymphing will be a little difficult at this time because of the low flows and high weeds.

Recommended Flies:

DRIES:
chernobyl, cdc ant, parachute adams, elk hair caddis, parachute caddis, e/c caddis, Hemingway special, Henryville special, clown shoe caddis, parachute emerger caddis, missing link, sloan's outrigger caddis, parachute ant, baby boy hopper, griffith gnat, stream bank hopper

NYMPHS: rubber leg copper johns, wd40, buckskin, deep six caddis pupa, fox's poopah, nitro caddis, bead diving caddis, sparkle pupa, juju baetis, rainbow warrior, pocket water baetis, lighting bug, rainbow warrior

STREAMERS: ...weeds are high & water is to low to pull streamers
