On Feb. 7-8, JD Abbott fished with jigs and Kastmasters tipped with chub meat and reported slow fishing. Fishing was best in the morning. In general, small jigs and lures work best. Try using glow-in-the-dark or white lures. Mealworms, worms, chub meat, minnows and salad shrimp are the most popular baits. Most tiger and cutthroat trout are either under or inside the slot limit. Rainbow trout average about 12 inches.
