The reservoir was recently stocked with rainbow trout. Even though the water level is low, fishing is hot for trout in the 7- to 10-inch range. One angler reports catching a fish with every cast using top water flies and spinners. Bass fishing has slowed down a little, but they are still biting on crankbaits. Don't forget to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number before visiting this privately owned pond.
Nearby Andy Adams was stocked with rainbow trout on Sept. 10 and Hobbs Reservoir is open. Remember to use artificial flies and lures only. Please see the Utah Fishing Guidebook for more details.
