Anglers report slow fishing for largemouth bass and bluegill. Bluegill are difficult to find, so try fishing some of the deeper water near the middle or west end. Pelican Lake has an overabundance of carp, so you can help the fishery by catching them or taking them with archery equipment. The waterfowl hunt starts on October 4.
