Mike Keating's Spirit of Adventure arrived at H&M Landing September 18 after a three-day trip (the 30th) with the Golden State Anglers. Chartermaster Ken Bernstein was aboard.
"He was tough on the 40-pound," said Robert McNab of the 125-pound tuna he took on a sardine and a 2/0 hook. He said he used the new 45-pound Seaguar fluorocarbon leader, and fought the big tuna for an hour and a half.
There was no jackpot on the trip, so Robert posed with his pal John Johnson of Las Vegas, with the 133-pounder John got after Robert set it up for him. "It's my first trip," remarked Johnson.
