Summer offerings are on the wane.?? Hoppers, ants, beetles and damsel adults will be recognized and important for only a little while longer.?? The PMD's and Tricos are fast fading away.?? This leaves the fish with two hatches of note that they can efficiently capitalize on (gorge) moving forward, starting now ??? midges and Blue-Winged Olives.?? Mahogany Duns will also make abbreviated appearances through the Fall.??
Between hatches (selectivity), scuds, leeches, midge larvae and mayfly nymphs are all worth presenting to fish while they are foraging opportunistically.
