Same as last week, off the charts trout fishing as Pit 3 is fishing the best. It’s least difficult to wade sections 3, 4 or 5. High stick with black copper johns size 12 and pt’s size 14 on the bottom. Also right near dark or on cloudy days the caddis hatch turns on. Use elk hair or ec caddis size 14. Wade with caution. Conditions are improving every day and fishing is really turning on. Bring a wading staff!! Pit #3, 4 or 5 black nymphs and rubber legs, and elk hair caddis. Head to Hat Creek at 7 p.m.  www.jacktrout.com, (530) 926-4540
