Hatches of PMDs, March Browns and a few spring time caddis are happening. Anglers getting out on the water early in the mornings can find a few fish eating small midge patterns in #20. This is such a great time of year to fish this river! For now, fishing on Hat Creek is at it's best early, before the sun gets high in the sky and then right at sunset.
