Lake Almanor Fish Report for 5-13-2015
Almanor bass, trout biting
Lake Almanor - CA (Plumas County)
by Nor Cal Fish Reports
5-13-2015
The best part of the fishing season is beginning. Fish are scattered all over both basins, be prepared to move. Lake levels remain very good. Water quality is excellent. Fishing pressure has been light, with a spike of activity during the weekends. Several boats reported a few quality fish in the 4 pound class this week, however most were in the 2 to 3 pound range. Smallmouth bass bite continues at Gould Swamp and near the dam. Use soft plastics or rip baits. Doug Neal: (530) 258-6732 http://www.almanorfishingadventures.com
