Hex hatch on at Almanor
Lake Almanor - CA (Plumas County)
by Nor Cal Fish Reports
6-17-2015
: Hex hatch is on and a few fish are being caught near Prattville. Fishing pressure has been light. Almanor is looking good. Current lake levels from PGE have Lake Almanor about 6 feet short of full. Surface temp reaching 68.5 degrees by mid-day and warming quickly with the current hot spell. Clarity, good, about 11 to 13 feet depending what part of the lake you’re at. Water quality is excellent. Cloud cover overnight and light rain has helped filter out moonlight.
Afternoon thunder showers possible. Looking ahead, there are 2 full moons in July. Doug Neal: (530) 258-6732 http://www.almanorfishingadventures.com
