Dave Rossman manager of Topaz General Store and RV Park reports a slow down of 2lb and tagged trout being weighed in for the week. Rossman weighed-in three 2lb fish and only 2 tagged fish for the week. Bank fishermen using Power Bait seemed to have the best luck.

Jason Mathis of Wellington NV. caught in a fish weighing 4lb-21 inches for a first place entry for the week. Sherry Haar also of Wellington took 2nd place. Rossman wasn’t able to send us any photos this week but we are looking forward for more photos and fish being caught in the upcoming weeks.

Although the numbers have decreased Rossman seems to be hopeful for anglers participating in the future. There’s still plenty of time left in the derby which concludes April 17 with a drawing for money and fishing gear.
