McGee Creek Fish Report

McGee Creek - Mammoth Lakes, CA (Mono County)

The stunningly beautiful color of these migratory cutthroat is something to behold. Long time Drifter Ryan Adamson nailed this magnificent fish with Doug Rodricks guidance.

Run-off has begun on the warmest days; however levels are not high at this point. The first pods of cutthroat have moved into the deeper sections. Some sixteen inch rainbows are also holding on the gravel during warmer periods. Attractor patterns dead drifted without an Under-cator can work well with a stealth approach.
