Fish of a lifetime for Eric Dootson. This gorgeous rooster is a real trophy for this area. Congrats Eric, Doug Dolan put him on it.

We have enjoyed an epic spring here for sure. The LCT run has peaked; however good numbers of fish (and fisherman) are still around. The longer days have got the snow melt swelling McGee & Convict Creeks, which in turn is bringing up cutthroat and smaller rainbows in good numbers all the way to the gauging station by Hwy. 395. Dead drift attractor patterns like crystal eggs, crystal leeches, SJ worms, Assassins, & Agent Orange along the cut banks; or in the larger riffles where you see the spawning fish staging up.
