Had an interesting group today at Donner lake. We started out with the two gents and the young man, because I take a max of three at one time. We got 3 macs by the time the young gal's turn came up. Then the Dad of the young man hopped off and the young gal boarded. This was 10 am or so and they decided to try for kokanee, against my warning that they typically stop biting around 10:30, 11 am. We tried for an hour and no luck, so switched again for 3 more macs by 1 pm. Pretty slow, but a decent day at a sometimes tough lake.
