WIND ADVISORY UNTIL 11PM! Lake has come up from 15% from the end of Fall to 47% currently. Concrete slab for boat launch is now in the water, at least 14 feet! Launching boats should not be a problem. Object here is to fill this lake as much as possible, along with Boca, and that means flows below the dam for the fly flingers will remain around 40 to 70 cfs for most the season. For the time being the flows have jumped on the LT below Stampede dam and that in turn will slow down the lake filling up. Kokanee fishing is in full swing now as they are being found in depths of 15-25 feet in 40-60 feet of water. Anything in Pink or combos of Pink have been great in spinner and micro squids. Bite will continue even when the sun is completely on the water just fish a little deeper and with Blues or Purple or combo's of these colors! . Surface temp is still cool at 55 degrees. Most Kokes are being targeted well outside the LT arm or in spots between the boat launch and the LT. Mack fishing has been good also below the Kokes and around the dam in 50-75 feet. This lake has turned on for the Kokanee with some reports this week of 25 fish for one boat and some Kokes ranging in the 15-16 inch range!
