Salmon were on the bite again today. Jim and Winston hooked and other 20 fish, landed 10 of them. Mixed in the 10, was Winston's hog of day, a fat buck that was 39-inches and at least 25 pounds. This big old buck put up quite a battle but in the end he lost and had to pose for a picture (He was then released). The Salmon are getting close to spawning are turning darker by the day. Although, fresh fish are still coming up each day, and of these fresher Salmon, many are Jacks, (small males under 22-inches) which you can keep. They are good for the smoker. I have some open day this coming week if you looking for some late season Salmon action.
