My son Conner and I fished the Klamath River yesterday and found some hungry Steelhead and Trout. We fished from the Hatchery to the Fishhook and we landed one 5 pound Steelhead and 10 Trout. We fished for 2 hours in the afternoon (12:30 to 2:30) due to the weather. The weather has been freezing, with snow flurries since Sunday, so starting early in the morning is not important. Plugs and bouncing bait worked best. Hardly anyone is out fishing so the if you can handle the cold there are some hungry fish waiting.
