Northern California has been hit hard the last week by snow, wind and rain. Yreka and Montague both have been hit hard by heavy snow. The Klamath River is now unfishable due to rising water flow (2760cfs). Most of the area lake will be unfishable due to snow, the lone exception would be Lake Siskiyou. As long as the wind is not blowing it will be fishable. The entrance and launch ramp are regularly plowed. Four wheel drive is a must. Lake Shasta will be be fishable as long as the wind is not blowing as well. The coastal rivers (Chetco, Smith) were fishing as of a few days ago but the water flow was rising, and getting close to unfishable. Stay tuned and stay warm.
