McCloud Reservoir is kicking out some nice Trout. I fished with my friend Doug his daughter Chelsie and my son Conner this weekend and we landed over 30 Trout, for two days fishing. Trolling Seps Dodgers with a worm trailers worked very well both days. On Sunday, I trollling flies picked up a lot of fish too. Bottom line is that the Trout at McCloud are hungry and are no too hard to catch. The Trout are in the 1/2 pound to 11/2 pound size range but great for the BBQ.
