Big Fish Update

Christmas is over, and the long range boats are back on the big tuna grounds south of Magdalena Bay. The weather has been rough, but winds and seas are coming down, the skippers note. Fishing isn't hot so far, but a couple of the boats have put cows aboard. There is an unsubstantiated report that Excel got a 290-pounder, and the Shogun reports a 225-pound yellowfin. The next few days will give a better picture.
