Steelhead fishing is winding down as most have started spawning. Anglers will still pick up a few fresh fish, but the majority are spawned out.

The angler-caught winter steelhead broodstock program has been very successful this year, with both boat and bank anglers donating steelhead to the Chetco River hatchery program.
