The surface temperature of the lake is a blazing 72 degrees and the Large Mouth Bass are starting to become active. Some shore fishermen reported bass being caught and released along the east shore of San Carlos Bay fishing IKAs. Three anglers on boats reported catching 8 Large Mouth (the biggest being 6lbs) along the buoy line near Del Cerro Point using Live Shiners. Some decent sized panfish and catfish were caught on the fishing pier over the weekend.
