The Bass bite has been slow this week. There was a little action in early morning and late afternoon with most fish take on Shiners and Drop Shots. The fishing pier produced some Bluegill and Redear in mid-day with most taken on meal worms or red worms. There were no Catfish reported this week. Whitman elementary school children hatched and raised 160 trout from eggs and released them as fingerlings into Lake Murray this Saturday. The program is intended to introduce children to the wonders of Biology and Nature Conservation, and is done in conjunction with the San Diego River Park Foundation and the Department of Fish and Wildlife. Everyone had a great time!
