The Kilchis has been slow for winter steelhead recently, mostly due to low flows. However, with rain last weekend and quite a bit more predicted for Wednesday the Kilchis could fish towards the end of the week. There are no hatchery releases in the Kilchis so this is mostly a catch-and-release fishery, although the odd hatchery stray does get caught. There should be fish throughout the system.
