Its trout that are happening as of yet. Our local anglers are having great success at the stocked sites. Community park and Davis camp are your go to sites. we have our local angler Mike Merrot and his visiting grad daughter Alyssa Carmona with their limit of rainbows form Community park. Mike was showing his technique using his favorite crappie jig and Alyssa proved it works very well. A reminder the limit for trout below Davis dam is now 5. They were fishing from shore in the afternoon. another local angler was fishing from shore in the rotary park area Jackson Maki landed his rainbow trout from shore in the rotary park area. He used both night crawlers and power bait to bring in his trout. I did get a sample of the stomach contents from his trout. we are waiting for the tests to come back and will let those results out as soon as we can. With our weather fluctuating fro warm to cold I guess this is keeping the striper bite off from both the Colorado river here below Davis dam and up on Lake Mohave. the wind is not cooperating with us much either. the marsh is still a good place for your catfish and the large mouth bass bite is soon to pick up. spinners in a white or green are usually your first to go to in this area.
