Fishing has been slow on the Necanicum recently, and the hatchery run is just about over. Conditions are getting a little on the low side, so use light gear and stealthy tactics. There will mostly be wild fish throughout the system at this point, so be prepared to catch and release. Float fishing jigs or beads, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
