Bridgeport is still fishing very well lately, as long as you’re in the right area(s). There are still a few fish being caught in the Rainbow Point area as well as up in Buckeye Bay and in the East Walker channel areas. The trolling has been tough though there are still a few anglers getting some fish trolling crawlers, bouyants and speedy shiners, you’ll need to pay close attention to your gear to make sure it doesn’t get weeded up too much. Bait fishing in the channels with pinched crawlers, mice tails, inflated crawlers and powerbait has been very good still with one fish tipping the scales at 9.75 pounds being caught on a night crawler this week. The fly anglers are also doing well fishing the channels with nymphs under indicators, they ‘ve been using lots of different patterns including ice cream cones, soft hackles, zebra midges, rojo midges, chironomid patterns and callibaetis patterns.
