Bridgeport has been a little bit hit and miss lately with some very good reports coming in as well as some slow reports. There are still good numbers of very nice fish in the 2 to 6 pound range being caught both in the Buckeye Bay channels as well as off of Rainbow Point. There’s also been a little trolling going on from Rainbow Point on over to Paradise Shores. We’ve also been getting some good reports of some nice perch being caught, some of them tipping the scales at nearly 3 pounds. For trolling go with night crawlers, needlefish, thomas bouyants and Rapalas, bait anglers are using pinched crawlers, inflated crawlers, powerbait and mice tails.
