Heading back in on New Years Eve day from the western Gaviota coastline. The weather was windy all the way to the fishing grounds but backed off once we arrived. We caught a  variety of bottom fish with a mix of reds, chuckleheads, and other miscellaneous rockfish. Several lingcod, cabezon, and sizable sheephead were also caught today. Our 36 anglers caught 254 rockfish, 273 whitefish, 2 lingcod, 4 sheephead, and 1 cabezon. Happy New Year to all and we look forward to fishing with all of our valued customers in 2019!
