The trout plant is working well and producing some nice rainbows for our anglers.  We have 2 stocking sites this time of year Davis Camp and Community park.  Anglers are having great luck at both sites. Our local angler Jason Trautwein was fishing from the shore at Davis Camp.  He was using his favorite spinner to land his limit of five Rainbow Trout.  I have reports that power bait and night crawlers were also producing some nice catches.  Some great news, our striper bite is picking up.  Our local striper angler Kent Davis was in the casino area and landed a nice 3.7 pound striper.  He was using anchovies fishing from shore to bring in this fish at 22 and 3/8 inches. Our weather is cooperating some which means more anglers can get out there and take advantage of our fishery.
